About Covenant House New York

Covenant House is committed to providing a place of shelter and support for every homeless and trafficked young person who passes through our doors. We serve kids in more than 30 cities across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

When a young person comes to our shelter, we address their immediate needs first – warm meals, showers, safe beds. But we don't stop at offering an immediate safe harbor. We strive to move each young person forward down a path to independent adulthood, free from the risk of homelessness.

In New York City, nearly 300 young people sleep in a Covenant House bed each night, at our Crisis Shelter or transitional living program on 41st Street (where the Sleep Out is held), our Mother & Child program, our subsidized apartments, and our safe house for victims of trafficking.
